Mauling Incident


DAPITAN CITY (Oct. 29, 2018) - Mauling incident occurred at Bgry. Burgos, Dapitan City at about 12:30am of October 28, 2018. The victim was identified as Ronnel Galanido Pacaro, 30 years old.

He was mauled by a certain Renerio Bael Dagpin, 43, male, married and a resident of Brgy Ilaya, Dapitan City.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 12:30am of October 27, 2018, the victim punched the suspect without apparent reason at the basketball court of Brgy Burgos, Dapitan City which led to a commotion.

The Brgy officials then pacified the situation but the suspect chased the victim and smashed him with a stone.

The victim sustained injuries on the head and was rushed to Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital, Dapitan City but was later transferred to Zanorte Medical Center for medication.

Meanwhile, at about 3:00AM of same date, the suspect was successfully arrested and is now detained at Dapitan City Police Station for filing of appropriate charges in court.

Report on Hacking Incident
Hacking incident transpired at Zone 1, Brgy Ayala, Zamboanga City at about 11:30am of October 28, 2018.

The victim identified as June Mendoza y Alvarez, 52 yrs. old, single and a resident of Brgy Tulungatung, Zamboanga City was hacked by the suspect identified as Angelo Mendoza y Tumampos, 20 yrs. old, single of Zone 1, Ayala, Zamboanga City.

Victim sustained multiple hacked wounds in the different parts in his body and was rushed by the responding ambulance to Zamboanga Medical Center for medical treatment.

The suspect was arrested by Zamboanga City Police Station 9 and recovered from his possession one bolo.

Subject is presently detained at the said police station for filing of appropriate charges in court. The motive of the incident is still to be determined.
