Relaunching of War Against Illegal Drugs

On March 6, 2017 at about 12:30 PM, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of this station under the supervision of PSUPT GLENN M. DULAWAN-OIC, conducted buy-bust operation at Brgy Lawaan-Banonong, Dapitan City that resulted to the arrest of one Rene Padao Balladares, 40 yo, single and a resident of said place. Confiscated from his possession and control were; three (3) pcs heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets wrapped in a piece of paper containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; one (1) pc heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu bought during buy-bust operation; and one (1) pc Five hundred peso bill used as buy-bust money with SN Nr CG497270. Inventory and markings of confiscated items was witnessed by Hon Sunny Boy Maghinay-Brgy Councilor of Brgy Dawo, this City and Ms Erna Baradillo-Media representative.

At about 6:30 PM of same date, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of this station led by PSUPT GLENN M. DULAWAN-OIC together with 904^th Maritime Group led by SPO4 Allan Pestañas, conducted joint buy-bust operation at Rotonda-Banonong, this City that resulted to the arrest of one Jonathan Kerwin Geronimo y Tibor, Chief mate of Aleson Shipping Lines Incorporated, 31 yo, with live-in partner and a resident of the aforementioned place. Confiscated from his possession and control were One (1) big transparent plastic sachet containing Forty Eight (48) pcs heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu; one (1) pc heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be shabu bought during buy-bust operation; one (1) pc Five hundred peso bill used as buy-bust money with SN Nr BR910123; one black wallet containing several IDs and Six Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (P6, 200.00) proceeds money; and one (1) unit Silver Asus Cellular phone. Inventory and markings of confiscated items was witnessed by Hon Rey Baran Calasang-Brgy Councilor of Brgy Banonong, this City and Ms Erna Baradillo-Media representative.

Both suspects were temporarily detained at Dapitan City Police Station for filing of appropriate charges in court.
