DAPITAN
CITY (Jan. 13, 2019) - On January 12,
2019 at about 10:30 PM, a concerned citizen called to Dapitan City Police Station
and informed that there was a person fired his handgun near the house of a
certain Benny Selencio of Brgy Talisay, Dapitan City.
Acted on the report immediately,
personnel of Dapitanc CPS responded to the reported place to verify the said
report. Upon arrival thereat, responding team identified the suspect as Dario
Aldolfo Biolanggo, 39 yo, married, a resident of the said place.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 10:30 PM of same date, the suspect believed to be under
the influence of liquor, got wild and threatened his neighbor Benny Gumba
Selencio, 36 yo, male, with live-in partner, by firing his handgun pointing to
the ground.
The suspect was subsequently arrested
and confiscated from his possession were one unit cal. 9mm pistol with serial
Nr 4126M9 Beretta, with 1 magazine loaded with 10 live ammunitions with no
firearms document presented. Arrested suspect is now detained to Dapitan CPS
for further investigation and filing of appropriate charges in court.
Further, confiscated firearm is still
under verification to determine its legal owner and status.
